The plant was activated on 25 December 1931, at the same time as the inauguration of the railway, by the Anonymous Society for the Voghera-Varzi Railway (FV)[1].
Shortly before the war, in 1940 this company was merged with the Società per le Ferrovie Adriatico Appennino (FAA) which collected the management of the stop. During the war, the railway suffered heavy damage, so as to force FAA in 1944 to suspend the exercise[2].
Reactivated at the end of war, and resumed the exercise, by ministerial decree n. 4305 of 9 December 1965 the suppression of the railway[3] in the context of the policy of the so-called "dry rhymes"; the stop was formally abolished on 1 August 1966[1].
