About the trail
The Strada del Brachetto connects villages, vineyards and small valleys around Mombaruzzo by bicycle. Alongside the wine landscape, the route encounters murals, domes, castles and the fabric characters that animate the streets of Maranzana.
What to look out for
Casalotto and Distillerie Berta precede the choice between the short lap and the loop that reaches Castel Boglione, Rocchetta Palafea, Montabone and Castelletto Molina. At Fontanile, the dome of San Giovanni Battista emerges above the houses decorated with murals. You then descend to Mombaruzzo Stazione and continue to Quaranti, crossing fields and poplar groves. The climb to Maranzana takes you to the country of the explorer Giacomo Bove and the babaci, before returning to Mombaruzzo Alto.

Start and practical details
We start from Piazza del Popolo to Mombaruzzo. The tour uses secondary and provincial roads, with repeated climbs; after Strada Prielle you choose whether to add the long loop. It is therefore necessary to define the variant before evaluating distance and time. The return to the high country includes one final climb.
