About the trail
From the cellars of Canelli to the Moscato ridges, this cycling circuit passes through a landscape of vineyards, hazelnut groves and woods. The hills of the Langa Astigiana and the places linked to Cesare Pavese give the tour an agricultural and literary character.
What to look out for
The climb reaches Cassinasco and the sanctuary of Caffi, then continues on the hills of Loazzolo, near the woods of rio Luja. A long descent leads to Santo Stefano Belbo, birthplace of Cesare Pavese. We go up towards Moncucco and the territory of Castiglione Tinella, encountering the sanctuary of Madonna del Buon Consiglio. Beyond Boglietto you reach Calosso, while Piana del Salto introduces the return to Canelli. Madonna della Neve and Bricco Crevacuore are deviations from the track.
