About the trail

The Strada della Barbera della Rocchetta is a short cycling circuit between the town, the protected forest and the cultivated hills. The contrast between the shade of the trees and the openings onto the vineyards gives variety to a short tour marked by ups and downs.

What to look out for

Leaving Rocchetta Tanaro for via Sardi, a first flat stretch leads towards Casale Gatt and Sant’Emiliano. The road gradually climbs and enters the woods of Riserva Naturale di Rocchetta Tanaro. Once you reach the ridge, the landscape opens up onto the crops at Ronchi, in the territory of Mombercelli. The chapel of Madonna di Fatima in Tocco precedes the passage towards Bricco, in the municipality of Belveglio. The descent takes you back to the village along via Roma.
