About the trail
Sixty kilometres on the Coppi brothers’ roads connect Serravalle, Castellania and the Grue and Borbera valleys, combining cycling history with hill country.
What to look out for
After crossing the Scrivia, the ride passes Stazzano, Sardigliano and Sant’Agata Fossili. Carezzano leads to Passo Coppi and Castellania, where birthplace, museum and mausoleum commemorate Fausto and Serse. Returning to the pass, the route continues towards Costa Vescovato and Avolasca before descending into Val Grue. Garbagna precedes the tunnel towards Val Borbera; Borghetto and Vignole accompany the return.
