About the trail

From Casale to Sacro Monte di Crea, 51 km combine river landscape, hills and a devotional destination, with a sustained climb and off-road sections.

What to look out for

Salita Sant’Anna opens views over Casale; Moncia and Rollini precede Castagnone and Madonnina. From Forneglio, the route climbs to the sanctuary. The chapel circuit up to Paradiso is visited on foot. Ponzano, Salabue and Castellazzo accompany the return towards Madonnina; Vialarda and Sentiero del Trenino lead to Canale Lanza and the Po.

Start and practical details

Start at the car park on viale Lungo Po Gramsci. The track includes singletrack, dirt and a wooden footbridge slippery when wet: use an off-road-capable bike. Respect pedestrian-only access to the devotional circuit.
