About the trail

The Ciclo Cavalcata Aleramica is a 454 km journey around Monferrato, inspired by the legend of Aleramo and suited to a substantial trip in stages.

What to look out for

From Casale, the journey reaches Trino and Gabiano, then Albugnano and the Vezzolano area. Canelli introduces climbs towards Loazzolo, Monastero Bormida and Cimaferle di Ponzone. The long southern arc includes Ovada, Gavi and Novi Ligure; Mombaruzzo and Lu lead back towards the Casalese. Pietra Marazzi, Valenza and the Po plain complete the return.
