Calliano Monferrato ( Calian in Piedmont) is an Italian town of 1 239 inhabitants of the province of Asti in Piemonte . It is part of the hilly community Monferrato Valleversa and the Association of Municipalities of Monferrato. It is located about 15 km north of the provincial capital, placed at 258 meters s.l.m. on a hill that separates the Versa Valley from the Grana Valley.
