Cassinelle ( Casc-nélle in cassinellese dialect, Cassinele in Piedmont , Cascinélle in Liguria ) is an Italian town of 840 inhabitants of the province of Alessandria in Piemonte , located along the provincial road 205 at a distance of about 9 km from Ovada and 12 km from the motorway toll of Belforte Monferrato . It is one of the municipalities of Ovadese, historical-cultural area of Lower Piedmont and Monferrato, which takes its name from the city of Ovada . During the summer the municipality and its hamlet, Bandita ( 44°34′32.5′′N 8°33′12.9′′E 44°34′32.5′′N , 8°33′12.9′′E ), see a high increase of the population thanks to the numerous holidaymakers coming almost entirely from the city of Genoa .
