The municipality has linguistic and economic ties with Savona and the Riviera di Ponente from which it is only 30 km. The village is 27 km from Acqui Terme , 37 km from Ovada , 60 km from Genoa and Alessandria . It is part of the union of the municipalities Suol d'Aleramo .
