About the trail
The Sentiero delle Ginestre takes mountain bikes from Acqui’s thermal waters to the woods of Grognardo and Ovrano, over 27 km with demanding descents.
What to look out for
Piazza della Bollente introduces the town’s thermal character; regione Lacia leads out towards Cavatore. Woodland descending reaches Grognardo before Marrona and Ovrano. Beyond the castle comes the Ginestre descent, followed by climbs at Montemarino and Montestregone. The Pineta descent ends the hilly section towards the Bagni.

Start and practical details
Start in central Acqui Terme. Mixed asphalt and dirt; the final Pineta descent requires mountain biking experience. Follow the GPX for woodland connections between Grognardo and Ovrano.
