About the trail
From Acqui, the Piagge and Rifugio Banca ride offers 28 km of mountain biking, leaving the Bormida for the hills of Cavatore.
What to look out for
Starting in Zona Bagni, the ride reaches the Roman aqueduct arches. Valle Orecchie climbs steeply to Cavatore, where the tower and churches invite a village stop. Towards Ponzone, the route turns onto the Le Piagge track, descends and climbs again to Rifugio Banca. San Felice and the Erro stream accompany the return.
