About the trail
Gabiano and Rubino di Cantavenna inspire 37 km through Valle Cerrina hills and views over the Po, with woodland, vineyards and repeated climbs.
What to look out for
Sant’Aurelio precedes Cantavenna and its viewpoint. The descent leads to Rocca delle Donne, overlooking the Po plain; Isolengo and Piazzano introduce the climb near Monte Sion. From Varengo, paths continue towards Villamiroglio, Vallegioliti and Fravagnano. Moncestino and La Piagera accompany the final section before the concluding climb to Gabiano.

Start and practical details
Start at piazza Europa in Gabiano, outside the town hall. Trekking or mountain bike for woodland paths, dirt and small asphalt roads; save energy for the final climb from La Piagera.
