Novi Ligure ( IPA : /ˈn divi ˈli diure/ ) is an Italian municipality of 27 572 inhabitants in the province of Alessandria in the Piemonte . The main municipality of the Novese region, which is named after and more generally of the Genoese Oltregiogo, Novi is one of the Alexandrian zone centres as the seat of the hospital, the upper school centre and other services for citizens.
