Place at the gates of Acqui Terme , along the road that connects the spa town with Ovada , Visone is one of the municipalities of Acquese , Lower geographical region Piemonte that takes its name from the city of Acqui Terme . It takes its name from the homonymous torrent Visone , which crosses it and that in its territory, not far from the center of the country, enters into Bormida .
