A street in the country

Mombaldone belonged to the brand of Savona and in 1209 it was invested Ottone Del Carretto. In the 14th century, however, he became Lord Henry IV Del Carretto of the branch of Finale Ligure, whose descendants were feudally subjected to the Savoy. The story of Mombaldone, therefore, followed the events of the dukes.[4]

Symbols

"Stemma a due Partito: the first of red to the silver cross (Piemonte, Savoia); the second of gold, at the five bands of red (Del Carretto); all overloaded on tip by the mountain of green, founded in tip and out of flanks, loaded by the corrugated thread, coming out from the sides, of blue. To the gold boss, loaded by the eagle of black. Under the shield, on a bifiable list and glittering of gold, the motto, in capital letters of black: 'PARVUS SED INDOMITUS'. Exterior ornaments from Commune.[5][6]»

In the coat of arms there are the cross of the Savoy and the red and golden bands of the Del Carretto. In the foreground Mons Baldonis, the hill on which the eight manses of the Abbey of San Quintino stood Spigno Monferrato.

The gonfalone is a drape party of yellow and red.
