Mushrooms and chestnuts: stage 9 leads from Ciglione to Ovada via Morbello, Vallosio, Cremolino, Ovada. From the Pellegrino path you can reach Morbello and Vallosio. Forest roads and small fords lead to Cremolino; from here the path descends towards Ovada, with a final stretch on a busy provincial road.
