Frugarolo (♪ [fryaˈrœ] in common Piedmontese; Fijar in local dialect; Friaró in Alexandrian dialect; Friar in the dialect of Fraschetta) is an Italian municipality of 1 885 inhabitants[1] from the province of Alessandria, in Piemonte.
The municipality is located in the Alexandrian plain, on the right of the Orba.

- The parish church of San Felice, of Romanesque structure with gothic influences, with a staircase of later times, was recently rebuilt after the collapse of the bell tower and part of the church occurred in 1980
- In the tower of Frugarolo, present in the estate "Torre San Pio V", between Frugarolo and Casal Cermelli, frescoes from the end of the fourteenth century with scenes from the King Arthur cycle were found (and then detached) and are now preserved in the museum of the former military hospital in Alessandria
