About the trail
The canton stone houses of Cella Monte introduce a loop that explores the valleys and ridges around the village. Vineyards, meadows and farmhouses accompany the path, with openings towards Rosignano and other towns in the Monferrato area of Casale.
What to look out for
Piazza Bollo retains a wash house and a well; via Gian Giacomo Francia leads to Valle Carcanara and the views of Rosignano. The Rio Carcana valley alternates meadows, rows and environments linked to truffles. From the ridges you can recognize Treville, Cereseto and Crea, with the Alps on clear days. The route passes Cascine Savoia and Cascina Valpane, descends along a grassy stretch towards Canneto and climbs up through Case Varocara. Via Marconi accompanies the return to the center of Cella Monte.

Start and practical details
The route measures 8.69 kilometres, approximately two and a half hours, and can also be done by MTB. It alternates between asphalt, gravel, grass and country roads. We start in the area of Cascina Sardegna and return to the center of Cella Monte through Piazza Bollo; check the connection to the chosen car park on the track.
