About the trail

The second Infernot stage leaves Moleto to link Sala Monferrato, Ozzano and Cella Monte across ridges and small valleys. Farmland gradually gives way to village streets and back again, with the chapel of San Pietro and the Lora stream providing distinctive landmarks along the way.

What to look out for

From the parking area in Moleto, walk through the village before descending on a grassy path. Cascina Magrina comes before the climb towards San Pietro and the ridge leading to the SP37. The route then enters Sala Monferrato along via Roma and via Olearo. Further on, it leaves the provincial road at cascina Costa and follows the valley beside the Lora stream to the fontanone. The climb passes below Treville and reaches Ozzano via cascina Rapetta. From piazza Vittorio Veneto, retrace part of the route before following the ridge through cascina Imarisia to Cella Monte.
