About the trail
Around Conzano, this loop allows you to observe the town from the countryside that surrounds it. The route opens onto the panoramic terrace, descends between meadows and poplar groves and returns to the cultivated slopes, leaving time at the end to explore the streets of the village.
What to look out for
From the center of Conzano you walk along the glacis, from which you can recognize the reliefs of Camagna, Vignale, Lu and Cuccaro. The descent towards cascina Borghina introduces meadows and poplar groves; a subsequent ascent reaches the road to San Rocco. From this little church you pass through cultivated fields, groves and vineyards to an artificial lake. Beyond cascina Rosetta, the path bends towards Valle Grana and runs alongside the town hill. The return leaves room for Piazza Australia, linked to the memory of emigration, and Villa Vidua with the nearby tower.
