About the trail
The Cime di Mombello are a tour of villages and ridges, where the view of the Val Cerrina alternates with passages nestled in the woods. The route follows the undulations of the hills and connects small religious buildings, farmhouses and ancient edges of the town.
What to look out for
From San Sebastiano you reach the hill of Monsengo, then the Cascine Gian Pietro and Sapelli. The chapel of Santa Lucia precedes a stretch between vineyards and limestone outcrops. At Morsingo you meet San Michele; beyond the valley floor, the passage towards Bric Berta leads to Zenevreto and the church of San Grato. The wooded watershed continues towards Bric del Lupo and Monte Sion, before Ilengo and the return next to the ancient walls of Mombello.
