About the trail
The Sentiero di Santa Libera climbs from Monastero Bormida through chestnut woodland, vineyards and countryside shaped by dry stone walls.
What to look out for
The Romanesque bridge over the Bormida di Millesimo introduces the walk. Beyond San Rocco, vineyards and woodland lead uphill past cascina Furnè; one section shares the Sentiero delle Cinque Torri. Santa Libera, with its small church and shelter, precedes the return towards the river.

Start and practical details
Start from the parking areas by Monastero Bormida’s Romanesque bridge. Paths, unpaved tracks and asphalt require care on descents and provincial road connections.
