Villamiroglio (Vilamireu or Vila dij Mireu in Piedmont) is an Italian municipality of 287 inhabitants^[1] from the province of Alessandria in the Piemonte, located about 30 kilometers from Casale Monferrato.

Church of Saints Philip and Michael built from 1764 on the area of the previous parish of Santa Maria^[5].
Church of Santo Stefano in the hamlet of Vallegioliti that was built from 1819 and consecrated in 1823 by the bishop of Casale to allow the population to participate in religious functions without going to the capital^[6].
Church of Santa Liberata dating back to the end of the 15th century is one of the oldest worship buildings in Valcerrina. Inside are preserved frescoes of the seventeenth century^[7].

The population of the municipality has undergone a strong reduction in one hundred years, bringing current residents to 30% of the inhabitants compared to the year 1921.
