In 1985 in Bergamasco was found at the farm estate of S. Christopher a Roman sarcophagus dating back to the 2nd century, used as a watering machine. According to the engraved inscription, it appears to belong to a freedom named Calventius, of the Papiria tribe. The reperto is now kept in the hall of the municipality.[9]
