Symbols
The civic coat of arms is documented in a letterhead of 1890 present in the State Archives Alessandria where is depicted a red shield with a rampant lion turned, with the head in front, while grasping with the fore legs the "dry spout", symbol of the Malaspina, lords of Cremolino between the middle of the XII and the mid-15th century.[4] The coat of arms and gonfalone were officially granted by decree of the President of the Republic of 12 October 1993.[5]
The gonfalone consists of a yellow drapery.

A pilgrimage destination is the sanctuary of Bruceta, built in the 9th century. It takes its name from the painting of Madonna on stone in it preserved and miraculously escaped the fire that destroyed the preexisting chapel. In 1918, Pope Benedict XV granted the plenary indulgence for this church.
The parish church of Nostra Signora del Carmine, built in the 19th century, is located in the village.
The most convenient train station to get there is not the Prasco-Cremolino station, but that of Ovada, equally distant, but much better served by public transport.

This quaint village is particularly worthy of note for having received a significant recognition from the Italian Environment Fund (FAI).
During the eleventh edition of the FAI census, Cremolino was the winner of the special ranking “The Villages and their Places”. This extraordinary success was made possible by the vote of 20,194 people, highlighting the strong affection and appreciation that the population feeds towards Cremolino and its historical heritage.
The 2022 edition of the census saw the participation of more than 1.5 million votes in favor of more than 38,800 places throughout Italy, underlining an extraordinary mobilization of the territory. This result demonstrates the importance and positive evaluation of Italian citizens towards the conservation and enhancement of their historical and cultural heritage.
The territory of Cremolino is characterized by rolling hills cultivated in vineyard, where some of the best Italian wines are produced. The local cuisine, fruit of a long culinary tradition, offers delicious and authentic delights. In addition, visitors can enjoy the renowned white truffle, one of the finest and most sought-after products of Italian gastronomy.
Thanks to its privileged position, overlooking all the surrounding hills, from Cremolino you can see 14 of the 28 castles in the area, which boasts the highest concentration of castles in the world[without source]. This feature makes Cremolino an extraordinary observation point to appreciate the architectural and historical richness of this region.
Cremolino is also a base for numerous excursions, whether on foot, bicycle or in E-bike, suitable for all levels of skill, from experts to beginners. A rich catalog of routes is available on the portal of the territory[7], which gives an account of the events that periodically take place in the historic village of Cremolino.
