SymbolsExplore this chapter

Symbols

The coat of arms and gonfalone of the municipality of Ottiglio were granted by decree of the President of the Republic of 6 August 1988.[4]

In the two grape bunches present in the municipal coat of arms, are remembered Barbera and Grignolino, the two vines fundamental to the economy of the country. The eight stars recall the eight families of feudal lords who ruled Ottiglio over the past centuries: Belloni, Burzi, Carelli, Guarneri, Montiglio, Plani, Rampini and Curioni-Guazzi.
