A closer look
Acquese: at a glance
There.Acquese (in Piedmontese ♪) is a geographical region of the Lower Piemonte, which occupies the southwestern portion of the province of Alessandria, going to border with Liguria (province of Savona and province of Genoa) to the south and the province of Asti south-west. It owes its name to the city of Acqui Terme, the center around which the area gravitates. Although related to province of Asti from the 1935, are included in Acquese the southern municipalities of this province, historically linked to the diocese Acqui Terme, then going to confine with the province of Cuneo.
